Our Charities

In 2011, we were able to donate at total of $17,000 amongst our charities. In 2012, we donated over $30,000 throughout the year as a result of the event. That is over a 170% increase!

charityWe donated a total of $21,000 between our two charities - the Boys and Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler Counties ($14,000) and the BlueRibbon Coalition ($7,000). The Boys and Girls Club and BRC have been our two major charities for several years now. We chose these charities to support two causes close to our club members. As a family friendly club, we support the youth of our future. The Boys and Girls Club is a terrific organization that helps shape our youth and provide opportunities to children who otherwise would not have them. Access to land and our trails is also very important to us. The BRC has been a fantastic partner in helping to fight to keep our trails open. Del Albright, Landuse and Access and Stacie Albright have also been tremendous in their support to help our event grow and we thank them for all the help they have provided over the years.

Because we had such a great year, we were able to extend our giving to two other worthy charities. In June, we supported the excellence in Education event by donating 12 iPads to be given away to students who have exhibited excellence throughout the year in academics, attendance, and conduct. We are also committed to supporting our fellow clubs in their events and are pleased to announce that we donated $1,000 to the Wheelers for Wounded event in July hosted by Matanzas Jeep Club. Later in the year, we donated $1,000 to the Southern Sands Show n Shine at Vilano Beach.

The Mid-Florida Jeep Club is honored to be able to donate this money to such worthy causes. We know we would not be able to do this without the overwhelming generosity of our participants, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and partners!

The Mid-Florida Jeep Club is proud to announce our charities for Jeep Beach 2013.

Volusia/Flagler County Boys and Girls Club

Our club chose the Volusia/Flagler County Boys and Girls club as our local charity. The Boys and Girls Club provides a safe place to learn and grow ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs, character-building experiences and Hope and opportunity. The United States is facing a national crisis with soaring high school drop-out rates, coupled with low fitness and high obesity within our young people. Boys & Girls Clubs are providing solutions to this national epidemic through homework help, engaging and fun nutritional tips, energizing sports and recreational activities and challenging academic programs. Throughout America, Clubs are reaching out to a generation at risk by providing positive guidance and exciting opportunities.
