Our Story

The Nature Coast area of Florida was forever changed on the morning of August 30, 2023 when hurricane Idalia came ashore as a powerful category 3 hurricane with 130 mph winds pushing a wall of water 8-12’ high into our coastal communities.

The monetary losses are estimated at between $2.5 to 5 Billion, but the real damages are immeasurable as many lost everything they owned. In many instances insurance was either not available or an affordable option, so many of these losses are uninsured. It is our desire to assist those who were full time permanent residents of these areas and the small businesses who employ them in their efforts to rebuild their homes, businesses and ultimately their lives. Many of us enjoy the resources provided by these areas and it’s our responsibility and should be our desire to assist them in this regard. It’s from this desire that a couple of hunting buddies reached out to a group of our Nashville friends with the idea of a benefit concert. We were overwhelmed by how fast this artist group donated their time and talents in support of the cause.

This event would not be possible without the support of several special people and organizations.   Jeep Beach not only allowed us access to one of the artists they already had under contract, but have been a valued partner as an advisor, along with technical and financial support. To learn more about Jeep Beach and the opportunities they provide thru various events and charitable programs, please go to their website at for information.
The Rex & Brody Foundation stepped up as our non profit partner in providing a platform in which to distribute all of the funding to those in need. The Nature Coast area meant so much to Rex & Brody and their family. I encourage each of you to go to to learn of their story and the continuing efforts because of these two young men to make a difference in their community.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the benefit concert at the Alachua County Ag & Equestrian Center(formerly known as Canterbury) in Newberry, December 14, 2023. The concert begins at 7:00. VIP Sponsor dinner will begin at 6:00. There will be food and beverage opportunities available for those in general admission as well. For sponsorship opportunities or general admission tickets please go to either or for the link to purchase. Space is currently limited to 84 sponsor tables (10 seats each) and 1,800 general admission tickets.
Let’s come out and support our neighbors as they rebuild their lives and communities.
